Don't wait until January: The Harvest Arc
Every year, as the weather begins to change and the end of the year draws closer, many of us quietly decide to slow down.
We tell ourselves:
“I’ll start again in January.”
“I’ll get serious after the holidays.”
“I’ll work on that goal when the new year begins.”
But what if we didn’t spend the final months of the year waiting?
What if, instead of treating this season like a countdown to January, we used it as an opportunity to become more intentional about what God has already placed in our hands?
That question inspired something new in my heart and I cannot wait to share it with you.
What Is The Harvest Arc?
You may have heard of the “Winter Arc,” a popular 90-day period during which people commit to improving their fitness, strengthening their discipline and working toward personal goals.
I love the concept, but I knew I wanted to create something deeper.
Something that wasn’t only focused on changing how our bodies look.
Something that didn’t require perfection, extreme routines or disappearing from our lives for 90 days.
Something that made room for faith, wellness, purpose, finances, personal growth and the realities of everyday life.
That is how The Harvest Arc was born.
The Harvest Arc is a 90-day journey of faith, discipline and stewardship.
It is an opportunity to pause, take an honest look at your current habits and become more intentional about how you care for your body, your mind, your time, your resources and your relationship with God.
This experience isn’t about becoming an entirely different person in 90 days.
It is about becoming more faithful with the person you are, the vision you’ve received and the resources you already have.
Discipline Is Not Punishment
For many of us, the word “discipline” brings up images of restriction, punishment and rigid routines.
We may think discipline means never missing a workout, never eating dessert, waking up at 5:00 every morning or completing an enormous to-do list every day.
But discipline does not have to be harsh.
Discipline can look like:
Keeping one small promise to yourself
Moving your body even when the workout needs to be modified
Preparing a nourishing meal instead of skipping one
Creating a budget and honestly reviewing your spending
Spending intentional time in prayer
Setting a necessary boundary
Resting without feeling guilty
Starting again after an imperfect day
Taking one faithful step toward something God placed in your heart
Discipline is not punishment.
Discipline is how we faithfully steward what God has placed in our hands.
That belief will be at the heart of The Harvest Arc.
More Than a Fitness Challenge
As a personal trainer and nutrition coach, I absolutely believe in the power of movement, nourishment and caring for our physical health.
But wellness is not only physical.
You can complete every workout and still feel mentally exhausted.
You can follow a meal plan while continuing to neglect your spiritual health.
You can reach a goal and still struggle to manage your time, protect your peace or steward your finances.
The Harvest Arc will encourage us to look at the whole picture.
Throughout the 90-day journey, we will focus on five areas:
Faith: Strengthening our prayer life, studying Scripture and learning to trust God in the process
Wellness: Becoming more intentional about movement, nutrition, hydration, sleep and restoration
Mindset: Examining our thoughts, emotional patterns, boundaries and self-talk
Stewardship: Managing our time, money, responsibilities and environment with greater care
Purpose: Taking meaningful action toward our goals, gifts and God-given assignments
This journey is not about doing everything at once. It is about identifying the areas that need attention and making consistent, manageable decisions that create lasting change.
Root. Cultivate. Harvest.
The Harvest Arc will move through three intentional phases.
Root
The first 30 days will focus on awareness, alignment and preparation.
Before we can create sustainable change, we must understand where we are, what has kept us stuck and what we truly want to grow.
Cultivate
The next 30 days will focus on consistency, discipline and daily action.
This is where we practice following through—not because we feel motivated every day, but because the commitment still matters.
Harvest
The final 30 days will focus on growth, stewardship and sustainability.
We will recognize what has changed, celebrate progress that may not be visible to anyone else and decide which habits we want to carry into our next season.
We will not wait until the final day to acknowledge growth. Every prayer, boundary, workout, nourishing choice, saved dollar and completed priority is evidence that something is taking root.
What’s Coming
I am currently finalizing a digital 90-day guided journal filled with:
Weekly themes and Scriptures
Faith-centered journal prompts
Wellness intentions
Financial and stewardship reflections
Personal discipline goals
Daily priorities and action steps
Habit-tracking pages
Weekly reset exercises
Space to celebrate progress
A plan for continuing beyond Day 90
The journal will serve as your personal guide and accountability partner throughout the experience.
There will be room for structure, but also room for real life.
If you miss a day, you will not be told to start the entire journey again. You will be encouraged to return with your next decision.
Because one imperfect day does not erase the seeds you’ve already planted.
What Could Change in 90 Days?
What could happen if you stopped waiting for January?
What could change if you consistently cared for your body for the next 90 days?
What could happen if you became more intentional with your time and finances?
What might God reveal if you made space to listen?
What goal could finally begin moving forward?
What could grow if you faithfully tended to what has already been planted inside of you?
You do not have to have every step figured out today.
You simply have to be willing to plant the first seed.
Be the First to Know
The Harvest Arc is coming soon (October 1st thru January 1st), and I would love for you to experience it with me.
Subscribe to the Harvest Living Wellness email list to receive the official announcement, launch details and first access to the 90-day digital journal.
And if someone came to mind while you were reading this, share this post with them. They may be ready to stop waiting for another year, another Monday or another “perfect” time too.
We are not waiting until January to become intentional.
We are choosing to root deeper, cultivate discipline and prepare for the harvest.
Are you ready to begin your Harvest Arc?
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
With expectation,
